Heart Transforming Mind Center

Together, we can take an important step to improve the quality of life for a loved one suffering from the debilitating effects of Alzheimer’s disease and dementia.

Our Personalized Recording
We prepare a personalized recording for each patient, which acknowledges experiences and positive memories, while suggesting activities for the unconscious mind to engage in, to improve personal well being. After listening to this unique recording, our clients are showing significant behavioral, emotional and physical improvements. They are making advances in verbal ability, mobility, memory, responsiveness, anger management, relaxation, decreasing insomnia and pain reduction.

Our Approach to Improved Well Being
The recording accesses the unconscious mind, a storehouse of information that remembers every thought, emotion, and behavior – even prior to birth. Our presupposition is that the unconscious mind can “hear” and respond in a way that the cognitive portion of the mind cannot. Further, we believe that the body is often able to heal itself, when given positive instruction for change. Perceptions and patterns of memories can affect our physiology, behaviors and emotions. These perceptions and patterns can be identified and reframed in a conscious or unconscious sleep state, promoting positive mental, physical, and emotional changes.

Who We Are
The Heart Transforming Mind Center (HTMC) is a non-profit organization located in the Portland, Oregon area, which is dedicated to improving the quality of life for Alzheimer’s and dementia patients. Sally Morgan-Nelson, the founder of this program, lost her own mother to Alzheimer’s disease after a long, slow decline that lasted for years. By applying her training in neuro-linguistic programming (NLP) and hypnotherapy, Sally has begun pioneering work using the power of the unconscious mind to hear and respond to verbal suggestions for making improvements in physical, emotional and thinking processes.
